In-Kind Donations

Family SOS is overwhelmed with the generous donation support we have received from the community. We are currently only collecting donations that can be used directly to support programming. We thank you in advance for your understanding and support of the Family SOS team, and the fellow families of HRM!

YEAR-ROUND ACCEPTED DONATIONS: 

• Hygiene items 

• Food 

• Large quantities of fruits, vegetables, bread, milk, eggs, butter

• School snacks 

• Baby-sized diapers, pull ups and wipes

• Baby formula

• New/unused Craft and stationery supplies 

• Monetary donations

• Gift cards (notably, President's Choice, Sobeys, Walmart, Lawtons)

• New toys and/or books

SEASONALLY ACCEPTED DONATIONS: 

• New / gently used Winter gear (hats, mittens, scarves) 

• School supplies 

• New children’s toys and books 

• Seeds and transplants

SPECIAL REQUEST DONATIONS (keep an eye on social media if we are in need of these items, or may be looking for them for clients): 

• Maternity clothing 

• Infant clothing 

• Furniture 

• Strollers

• Kitchenware 

• Appliances

• Other
